Brian Salmanpour
Founder
Co-Founder and Chairman of Kay International Plc and Londongate Plc, Brian was the driving force behind the Group’s strategic growth.
He established Kay International in the UK in 1980, later securing Lloyd’s Cover-holder status and transforming it into a Lloyd’s Broker. His influence extended across Eastern Europe, Central Asia, and Africa, where he founded 11 insurance companies in markets often overlooked by larger firms.
Brian passed away in 2024. His legacy as a pioneer in global insurance will be remembered fondly by everyone in the insurance market. He will be missed deeply by all our partners and everyone at Kay International PLC.

Susanne Salmanpour
Managing Director
Susan founded Intech Surveyors Ltd in 2000, a property survey company serving Lloyd’s underwriters. She has also been an active Director at Kay International Plc since 2010 before becoming Managing Director in 2024.
Najat Mohoubi
Chief Financial officer
A chartered certified accountant ( ACCA member)-MBA, Najat joined Kay International Plc in 2013, having served in a number leadership positions with companies such HSBC Securities.
Kayvan Salmanpour
Non-Executive Director
Kayvan is an accomplished C-suite executive leader. He has held a variety of senior leadership positions at organisations such as Marsh & McLennan and Hearst Corporation. Kayvan graduated with a Masters degree in Media Law & Accounting at the London School of Economics.
